Gazzelle Champy attended the prestigious Parson’s School of Design where she excelled and won The  Most  Creative Design Award  containing a distinguished panel of judges such as  Oscar de la Renta, Donna Karen, Stan Herman.

Throughout her career as a Seventh Avenue Evening Wear Designer  she worked under her own label "Gazzelle Ciampi" carried by Neiman Marcus, Saks' and fine Specialty stores, throughout the county. Though out her career  she has created Atelier bridal gowns for her private clientele.

For Gazzelle, it began as a child, watching her mother a Cuban socialite in the fifties wear beautiful clothing from Designers such as Adolfo and Balenciaga, so it was only natural for to develop a passion for style and grace and devote her life to dressing a women’s body.


With Cuban parents Gazzelle’s Latin heritage always shows setting the attitude of her pieces

Gazzelle freelanced on several projects throughout the years, including teaching at Fashion Institute of Technology, while continuing to create for private bridal clientel
